Meet Stabella! This Lovely Lady Arrives in DC on Halloween!

Meet Stabella! This beautiful little lady is an intelligent companion who will enjoy sharing every activity with you! At about 34.5 pounds, she is very energetic, affectionate, and loves to learn new things!

As an adult, Stabella  is very active, and as a Border Collie will need mental and physical stimulation on a daily basis. She will need to go for regular runs, and will misbehave if she only gets a walk around the block or a romp in the yard as exercise! Sensitive to any cue, and always looking for a job to do, Stabella loves playing with the two other dogs with whom she currently lives.  While Stabella gets along with other dogs, we haven't had a chance to see her interact with kids or cats yet. If you have either, let us know and we'll find out more!!

At 3 years old, Stabella is a full-grown adult border collie mix. However, she will still need a committed owner to provide training and exercise to be a well-behaved dog.

Stabella is dreaming of finding a warm and loving forever home and can’t wait to arrive in DC on 10/31 and leave the scary shelter where she currently lives! All she needs is a caring person or family to give her all the love and care (and treats!) she deserves!

Like most shelter dogs, Stabella may need a refresher on housetraining. She is likely crate trained.

The adoption fee for this dog is $300, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Emily Jagdmann at emilyj@luckydoganimalrescue.org!
